Inspired by my friend Ethan Maurice, this is a collection of my favorite internet things. The bar here is pretty high. These are less “interesting links” and more profound meditations, to return to, again and again.

Conversation between Steven Colbert with Anderson Cooper about having gratitude despite tragedy. Colbert says “you don’t get an alternate timeline.” We have one life, and we are either grateful for all of it, or not. We don’t get to pick and choose the good and bad parts.

Ram Dass on seeing the light inside all people. I wrote a post inspired by this meditation.

Elizabeth Gilbert on choosing the path of curiosity (which leads to life that’s alive) over the path of fear (which leads to a life that’s small, constricted, heavy).
